What animals does Keia support?
Keia supports dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, hamsters, fish, reptiles, horses, and other companion animals. You can track health events for any pet species.
Is Keia free to use?
Yes! The free plan lets you manage 1 pet with basic features. Upgrade to Premium with a one-time purchase to unlock unlimited pets, full history, photo attachments, reminders, and co-parent sharing.
How does co-parent sharing work?
Invite up to 3 co-parents per pet by email. Choose their access level: viewer (read-only), editor (add events), or full access (edit pet profile). Co-parents receive their own view of the shared pet.
Is my data safe?
Absolutely. All data is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS, stored on EU-based servers (Scaleway, France), and photos are stored on Amazon S3 in Europe. We comply with GDPR and never sell your data.
Can I find emergency vets nearby?
Yes. Keia includes an emergency vet finder that uses your location to show nearby veterinary clinics on a map. Your location is used in real time and never stored.
What happens if I change phones?
Your data is synced to our servers, so switching devices is seamless. Simply log in on your new phone and all your pets, events, and reminders will be there. Premium purchases can be restored from the app settings.
