What belongs in a pet medical record
A useful medical record is more than a list of vaccination dates. In practice a vet asks four things: what was given, when, at what dose, and what happened afterwards. Keia is built around those four questions.
Each health event carries a type (vet visit, vaccination, medication, symptom, weight or other), a date, free-text notes, and up to five attachments. Vaccination and treatment events can carry a reminder for the next dose, so the record and the schedule stay in the same place instead of drifting apart.
Events may also be dated in the future. A vet appointment is booked before it happens, so Keia accepts it, shows it as the pet's next event, and reminds you before the day.
Built to be used in the consulting room
Most pet health apps fail at the only moment that matters: standing at the counter with your pet on the table, being asked for a vaccination date. Keia keeps the whole history one tap from the pet profile, and the documents in their own tab beside it.
Documents are kept on your device as well as on the server, so the vaccination booklet opens instantly — even with no signal in a basement clinic. Sharing sends the original file by email, WhatsApp or AirDrop, not a re-compressed screenshot.

What happens to my records if I change phone?
Your data is synced to Keia's servers, hosted in the EU. Log in on the new phone and every pet, event, document and reminder is there. A Premium purchase can be restored from the app settings.
